I am debating between the envy with a i5-580m processor and a 14 inch screen, and the pavilion with a i7-2820QM processor and a 17 inch screen. All of the other specs are the same since they will be custom built except the pavilion will have a slightly higher memory. I could put an i7 in the envy but i heard that it would just eat the juice out of the battery. I realllly like the looks of the beats edition envy, but the pavilion sounds a little better but I'm not sure if it makes a huge difference. I do some gaming and some video editing, but mostly i would use it for music, web browsing, and writing essays. Any help is appreciated!Hp envy 14 beats edition vs. hp pavilion dv7t?
