i have heard MANY bad things about HPs laptops. My brother has also an HP touchscreen laptop 1.5 years old and its terrible. well it WAS because yesterday it died.
but there are 2 series of HP's laptops which i liked (HP envy 14 and HP pavilion dv6t)... and i would like to purchase one of them. but i dont know because of all the bad reviews and comments about HP brand
so please, if u can, help me decideShould i buy an HP laptop?
If you care to learn the more basic PC maintenance and troubleshooting then you should be okay with the HP. Pavilions are their mainstream line while the Envy is their premium - just stay away from any budget class laptop (Presario, G series, etc.) or you're really asking for problems.
Hp won't be much different compared to Dell, Acer, Gateway, etc. with regards to customer service. They have a 21 day no questions asked return policy so you can give them a try and if there's anything that you don't like about the laptop, just tell them and they'll send you a return box. Make sure to check if the laptop you get qualifies for that return policy first. Whatever happens with the laptop, don't ever let them try to repair it within the return period because they'll most likely try to prolong the issue until the period is finished then start treating you like crap.
if you are good with computers then buy HP
the main problem of HP is the programs that comes with it ( many hp programs ) that sometimes slow your pc down
and the second problem is HP laptops gets really hot so don't worry if you bought a hp and it became hot
but otherwise HP have best PC ability availableShould i buy an HP laptop?
Don`t. I have had 4 HP pcs in the last couple of years. One, was a top line blue ray laptop. Blu ray would not work with no fix from HP. They offered me the same laptop? Would the blu ray work? They did not know. So I put my payment somewhere els. Got it @ fut. shop. It does`nt stop there. My quad media pc blew and the problems with my Blackbird I could write a book.
Ps thier service is TERRIBle.
yeah hp is going downhill ever since the merge with compaq sickens me but some hp are goo i own one with Pentium Intel with windows 7 is okay but has some issues. i would recommend sony vaio or alienware computes there top computers out ther but alien is expensive and sony is not that expensive but is a good machine
dont do it 25% percent break in under three years
Don't do it.
