Right now, I'm looking at the Dell Studio 14, Dell XPS 14 (I hate the design tho), HP Envy 14 %26amp; Sony Vaio Z, Y or EA Series. So basically, I want a powerful laptop (I'm an engineering student), but one that is also light, so nothing bigger then 14'' (preferably).Looking to buy a laptop in the next 6 months with Windows 7 as OS. Any idea?
If you want the power, I'd take the XPS, it's a much more powerful laptop than the others. Next powerful would be the Envy and the Sony. The Envy has a better screen while the Sony has better layout.
512MB is enough of a video card for games like the Sims, but the 1GB will be better.
