HP DV6TQ vs ENVY 14 Beats Edition?

Ok, im a 17 yo guy that wants a fairly powerful laptop for video editing, gaming, and any tasks i might want to throw at it. Yes the Envy does not have bluray but it was free that's why its on the dv6. Please dont go on about how HP sucks and stuff these are the only laptops I am happy with the look and feel of. What one of these would be better for gaming, video conversion(dvd to ipod format) and general tasks for school.

The DV6TQ has a bit better performance, so I'd spend the little bit extra and get that one. It will still have good sound.

I have had the HP ENVY 15-1050NR for over three months and have enjoyed almost every minute of it. I have been very pleased with its performance and ease of use. The processor is simply amazing, the video card is more than enough for my needs, and the screen is the best I've seen in a laptop. I consider myself a pretty heavy user, often running more than 150 processes at a time, and rarely feel any lag. For the power you get, the size and weight are pretty impressive. The laptop does get warm when under heavy use, as is to be expected with a quad-core machine, but its quiet, effective cooling system does a great job of keeping the system within acceptable/tolerable temperature limits.
