HP envy 14 or macbook pro?

I'm going to college very soon, and I'm trying to decide between the HP Envy 14 or the macbook pro. What do you guys think? Is it worth to spend extra more on apple, or is the envy just as good? I want something that will last.

Personally, I have a 15" macbook pro and was deciding on whether to get a HP envy or macbook pro... I went to bestbuy and played music on both of them loud and the macbook pro had A LOT more bass... Playing the music very loud vibrates the laptop from the subwoofers in the laptop!!!... Also the macbook pro is soooo much easier to use... The macbook pro is probably better.





Plus you didn't state what you were using it for? Internet? games? etc...







If your using it just for internet, work and notes then i'd recommend the 13" macbook air!!! The battery went 10 hours on 75% dimness!!!
I own the envy 14 it is really fast and mine is nearly two years old and still boots up and shuts down under 49 seconds and I store A LOT of moves,music and games lol takes up a lot of HDD space but between the macbook pro and envy 14 I would choose the Macbook pro due to bootcamp and so two OS
