Laptops aren't really meant for gaming, and the fans that are in the laptop aren't rated to spend that much time at that high of an RPM. It sounds like the fans are starting to wear down and you should probably have them replaced.

HP Envy 14 constant fan noise while playing WoW?
I bought my HP Envy 14 about a year ago, and I pretty much only use it to play WoW. It used to be that occasionally when I was in a graphic heavy area, the fans would kick into high gear and the computer would heat up a bit. No big deal. For the last 6 months or so, however, the fan is almost constantly on high while I am playing, and the computer is always really hot. I clean my fans out all the time, keep it on a flat surface, etc. Any suggestions?HP Envy 14 constant fan noise while playing WoW?
